Pleasant Hill Community Church November 7 Sermon

“Fertile Soil Vs. Muck” is the sermon Sunday, November 7, 2021, beginning at 10:30 at Pleasant Hill Community Church, United Church of Christ (UCC).  The sermon is delivered by the Rev. Char Burch. Rev. Burch is a retired United Church of Christ minister specializing in Interim and Transitional ministry. She is a member of the Pleasant Hill Community Church and has been for the past 4 years.

The sermon details how when we are rooted in God’s love, we flourish and are resilient like a tree rooted in fertile soil. This rootedness in love develops core values that provide the basis for making decisions and living our lives as witnesses to God’s love. What are the core values that define who you are? How do people recognize them in you?
