“Classic liturgy, progressive theology” might best describe our primary worship service, as it features piano, organ, and sanctuary choir (with the frequent addition of recorders and strings). Our worship is crafted by a talented team of worship designers and is structured around the images and themes of the lectionary, enriched with poetry, sacred and secular literature, occasional dramatic production, and a variety of music – old and new hymns from a variety of traditions, familiar tunes with lyrics that address contemporary issues, and the occasional spiritual or gospel song.
